This place was a strong match for a quick weekend visit in Truro with the best value. Enjoyed the hot breakfast, particularly the delicious blueberry cake with blueberry sauce. Consider checking restaurant hours as they close early.

The hotel feels distinctly dated!!! Exterior room entrances create an unwelcoming vibe. Mismatched furniture adds to the lack of aesthetic appeal. The early closing time of the restaurant is a disappointment for late-night travelers!!!

Disappointing Experience with Pool Closed

The amenities promised a relaxing stay, but the pool was unexpectedly closed. However, the staff did their best to assist us with a room change. The location offered access to scenic areas nearby, which made our downtime enjoyable despite the setbacks.

I really liked the breakfast, especially the made-to-order omelet station. It had a lot of fresh ingredients. The staff at the restaurant were enthusiastic, and it felt like they truly cared about our dining experience. Our room was clean and spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I was disappointed that the indoor pool was out of order during my stay. The room location also made it a hassle to get back and forth to the main building, especially when the weather wasn't great. Another issue was the cleanliness in some common areas. some tables in the dining area were left uncleaned, which was a bit off-putting. Despite those setbacks, the overall vibe was friendly. There’s definitely room for improvement in upkeep, but the enjoyable breakfast and helpful staff made for a decent stay.

The outdoor pool was amazing for late-night swims (my kids loved it! ). Staff were super friendly and the grounds were well kept. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options, especially the fresh fruit! !

I stayed in the Queen Room with Two Queen Beds and it was really clean and comfy. The furniture was in good shape, and the TV remote was easy to use! The bathroom was on the small side, though. The location is handy if you’re visiting family nearby. One downside was the indoor pool being out of order during my stay. Breakfast had a nice omelet bar, which I loved.

Just a fine choice for a flying visit in Truro with high value for money. The server in the lounge was really accommodating and made my experience enjoyable. Check the pool hours to make the most of your stay.
